My journey: the Road to Realms and Whispers

I’ve lived a full and colourful life, shaped by love, growth, and resilience. I’ve been married twice and am a proud mother to two daughters from my first marriage, as well as grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren.

My journey has taken me through many different paths and professions, all of which eventually led me to nursing—a career that deeply shaped who I am. Stepping away from nursing after experiencing trauma was one of the most difficult challenges I’ve faced. Developing complex PTSD changed my life in profound ways, but it also became a turning point, guiding me toward a new path and a deeper understanding of myself.

Spirituality has always been a constant in my life. Through personal experiences, I’ve come to believe there is far more to this world than what we can see—and at times we catch glimpses of it. Through every challenge, I’ve learned to trust in something greater than myself. Some call it God, Allah, or Jesus. I don’t attach a name to it, but I know it exists, and trust in its presence.

Even in life’s hardest moments, I believe something good will emerge. Some personal guiding principles that have always carried me through are:

○ All good comes out of bad
○ What people think of me is none of my business
○ You can’t control someone else’s behaviour, only how you respond to it
○ If in doubt, throw it out!

I live by the Witches’ Creed, the threefold law, and the principle of doing no harm. Kindness is important—but so is protecting your own energy. I’ve learned that people come and go, and each connection brings its own lessons. I don’t believe in mistakes, only opportunities to learn and grow.

Over the years, I’ve been called many things—crazy, funny, kind, generous, caring, strong, confident, stubborn, focused, determined. None of it happened overnight. It has taken a lifetime of living, learning, breaking, healing, and rising again to become the person I am today.
